What Our Families Have To Say:
This is Rosie’s mom. Rosie is (Pink-Heart collar girl, born in October of 2022.Ruby and Rogue). See pictures below. Rosie is a wonderful gal and I wanted to touch base and let you know about her life since she just had a birthday. It is hard to believe she is already three years old. She has earned CGC, CGCU, CGCA. She recently trained and tested to be a therapy dog. She passed the test with flying colors! However, in true Rosie fashion she couldn’t be patient while the other students tested and she barked. It was literally one bark, but they disqualified her for the bark. Rosie loves being the head of the show! She has little patience for other dogs doing what she already showed everyone how to do.
Her favorite thing is nose work. She has many scents under her belt and finds them on the windiest of days even if the scent is up under a vehicle wheel well or hidden in some other obscure place. She puffs out her jowls and goes to work. She also loves trailing. As I mentioned before we have 150 acres, 90 acres of forest, which she trails like a pro. She loves to work hard and make herself and us proud! I sincerely hope we are enabling her to live up to her full potential.
As for fun, she loves playing ball, fetching a stick and going through play tunnels. Her favorite toys are a stuffed dog we bought for her before she came home to us and the pink pig you sent home with her. We can say “go get dog” or “go get pig” and she knows the difference. She is one smart dog.
Rosie has been to many training classes. She loves to be involved. Rosie learns things in one or two sessions and if it is a four or five session course, she is bored to death the last two or three classes because she already learned the stuff. She is as if to say. “let’s get out of here, I already know this and we’re wasting our time, I’d rather be searching for a find or trailing.”
She snuggles, thinks she is a lap dog (53 pound lap dog) and is as sweet as ever! We love her dearly and thank you very much for such a wonderful gal.
Take care, I’ll send another update on another birthday!
Claudia
“Bogi was a HUGE hit at the vet today! I couldn’t go in with him – they came out and got him in the parking lot. He has gained 1.4 lbs (now 8.6 lbs) and I think his legs are 4 inches longer! Vet loved how confident and happy he seems. I described your protocol and she said not many breeders give that much effort and that he was worth the wait.
He and our kitty, Rami are becoming good friends. Rami initiates play and Bogi is figuring out that cats play differently from puppies. He is learning his way around the house and has staked out some favorite spots. We are so in love.” – Jan-Marie, Bogi’s mom
“It will be a year that we have had Rosie, and what a wonderful time. Rosie earned her AKC, Canine Good Citizen ribbon last night. We were thrilled she decided to pass the test. Rosie knows all of the right stuff, but with Rosie, it is a matter of if she feels like doing it or not. Thankfully last night she did. We will now be preparing for CGCA. Rosie has also been doing nose training and will be in Scent Foundation 2 before she starts her trailing classes later this winter. We may do some scent competition if Rosie seems interested. We have about 90 acres of woods and she loves to trail! She is a great gal, willing to please, but with an occasional stubborn streak. She has excelled in distraction classes, and obedience classes that she deems useful or necessary. We couldn’t be anymore proud of her because on any given day, she does her best.” – Claudia, Rosie’s mom
“Goose (Cinnamon x Rogue) is thriving and has brought me so much joy over the past year and a half. He’s still dark red, with some grey/white hairs speckled in on his back. Such a cuddler, and totally my shadow (you were right when you described what the boys are like).” – Tony, Goose’s owner
“I just wanted to say thanks again for giving us our sweet new puppy, Arthur. He’s awesome and he has definitely mended our broken hearts after losing Frankie. He’s such a good boy and is such a joy to our family. You really do breed the BEST dogs. We are so grateful for all you’ve done for us.” – Sara, Arthur’s mom
“Teddy (quickly realized he wasn’t a Winston) is now 16 weeks and weighs in at 23.5 lbs. So much for being the runt of the litter. The last photo is of him and Duke who play nonstop when together.
He is absolutely wonderful and a big cuddler.” – Patrick, Teddy’s dad
“She is just the best girl ever!! A girl through and through but one thing I wondered do all your pups get this lamb? She carries it daily to bed and takes from the bed in am but leaves it be most the day. It’s adorable. My other two dogs have never once touched “her baby” they somehow just know amongst all the million toys that one is just for her. ❤️
Thank you so much for breeding such a lovely litter.” – Natalie, Charlie’s mom
“Just wanted to pass along an update on Cedar. He is progressing very well as a bird dog. I keep his hair short to avoid bird but he still gets many compliments. Thanks for a great pet. Here is a photo from today, we hunted the afternoon at the National prairie near Des Moines, cedar jumped over a dozen pheasants. This was the one we came away with. All in all a very fun day with the dog and my brother.” – Mark, Cedar’s dad.
“Hi Laura, just wanted to share these photos of Maggie may born may 9th 2022 purple collar. She is a great happy smart dog. Thanks so much.” – Jenny, Maggie’s mom.
“She is the best puppy I have ever owned I love her and I can tell she is happy and loving me back.” – Rebecca,
