1. What breeds do you specialize in?

We specialize in breeding purebred red standard poodles. Our focus is on maintaining the highest standards of health, temperament, and conformation in our poodles.

 

  1. Are your poodles AKC registered?

Yes, all of our poodles are registered with the American Kennel Club  – AKC. We take pride in breeding dogs that meet or exceed AKC standards.

  1. What health tests do you perform on your poodles?

Our poodles undergo comprehensive health testing, including genetic testing for common breed-specific conditions such as hip dysplasia, PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), and genetic testing for other hereditary diseases. We are committed to breeding healthy, happy poodles. OFA CHIC Requirements.

  1. How do I reserve a puppy?

To reserve a puppy we require a non-refundable $200.00 deposit is required to secure your spot on the Wait List.

  1. Can I visit your facility before purchasing a puppy?

Sometimes.Our puppies are raised in our home. We allow visitors to our home only when we do not have unvaccinated  puppies.  Visits are by appointment only.

  1. Do you offer a health guarantee?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive Two Year health guarantee with all of our puppies. This includes a two-year genetic health guarantee and a guarantee that your puppy is free from congenital health defects at the time of purchase.

  1. At what age can I take my puppy home?

Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. This allows them to develop properly and ensures they are well-socialized before leaving our care.

  1. What do you include in the puppy package?

Each puppy comes with a puppy care package that includes:

  • AKC registration papers
  • A health certificate from our veterinarian
  • Up-to-date vaccination records
  • A starter supply of the puppy’s current food
  • A toy with the scent of the mother and littermates to help with the transition
  1. Do you offer shipping or delivery services?

Yes, we offer both domestic and international shipping options for our puppies. We also work with trusted pet transport services to ensure your puppy arrives safely.

  1. What kind of support do you offer after I bring my puppy home?

We provide lifetime support for all of our puppy owners. Whether you need advice on training, nutrition, or health, we are always here to help. We love staying in touch with our puppies’ new families!

  1. Do you have adult poodles available for adoption?

Occasionally, we may have retired adults or young adults available for adoption. Please contact us for current availability and information on how to adopt one of our adult poodles.

     

    1. How do you socialize your puppies?

    Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment where they are exposed to a variety of sights, sounds, and experiences. We follow a structured socialization program that includes interaction with different people, other animals, and various environments to ensure well-rounded, confident puppies.  Enrichment.

    1. What is your policy on spaying/neutering?

    We strongly recommend spaying or neutering your puppy unless you plan to breed responsibly. We can provide guidance on the best time to spay or neuter based on your puppy’s individual health and development.

    1. Can you help me choose the right puppy for my family?

    Absolutely! We are here to help you find the perfect puppy for your family. We will work with you to understand your lifestyle and preferences, and suggest puppies that fit your needs and personality.

    1. Do you offer any training for the puppies?

    While we focus primarily on breeding, we can provide basic training for puppies upon request, such as crate training and potty training.

    16. What is the Price for a Sunset Maple Poodle Puppy?

    The price for one of our puppies with Limited AKC Registration (no breeding rights) is $2500.00.  Full AKC Registration with breeding rights may be available for an additional fee.

    17. What is the sales tax rate applicable to Sunset Maple Poodle Puppies?

    7.25% Sales tax will be added to the puppy purchase price if applicable. IL sales tax law
